Students must be United States citizens and have resided in HARRISON, GREGG, MARION, PANOLA or UPSHUR Counties in Texas for 24 months. Residence is determined as of September 1 of the school year. Application must be made through the Financial Aid Office of the school of your choice. Participating schools must be non-tax-sup- ported colleges or universities in Texas or Centenary College, Shreveport, Louisiana. A list of participating schools is available upon request from P.O. Box 1964, Marshall, TX 75671.

Grants of up to $5,000 are awarded for each year of attendance, not to exceed four (4) years. Applicants must be a full-time student and demonstrate financial need. The student is eligible when the combined adjusted gross income for all family members supporting one or more college students does not exceed $160,000. Full disclosure of all resources is required. First year recipients must have at least a "C" grade average on high school courses and must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA in college for continued eligibility. Funds shall be for tuition, books, and course-related fees and equipment for degree candidates.
