Those eligible to apply for a Sid Richardson Memorial Fund scholarship must be direct descendants (children or grandchildren) of persons who qualified for Early Retirement, Normal Retirement, Disability Retire- ment or Death Benefits from The Bass Retirement Plan. A complete list of eligible companies is available on the website.

Also eligible are direct descendants (children or grandchildren) of persons presently employed with a minimum of 3 years' full-time service with either: Barbnet Investment Co., BEPCO, L.P., City Club of Fort Worth, Richardson Aviation, San Jose Cattle Co., Sid Richardson Foundation, City Center Management, L.P. or SHSM Partners, L.P. A comprehensive list can be found on the website.

These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis according to academic achievement and financial need. Applicants must submit an "Application Request" via website, mail or email to determine their eligibility. Once eligibility has been established, the applicant will be provided with a link to the online scholarship application.
