CHAPTER 311 TAX INCREMENT REINVESTMENT ZONE REPORT

The Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) Report contains the following:

  • a table with basic TIRZ information about its project activities for that one reported year;
  • a details report with financial details for each individual TIRZ, accessed by clicking on the Record ID; and
  • a downloadable spreadsheet containing all the basic information regarding that TIRZ and its financial details.

TIRZs are reported only once when the zone is created (Tax Code, Chapter 311). If the zone is modified by extending the duration of the term and/or enlarging/reducing the size of the zone, the modifications report should be submitted.

Local governments are required to submit annual reports for the duration of the TIRZ’s existence (Tax Code, Chapter 311). Some forms as submitted by a local government in prior years may have left questions blank. If the zone effective date and zone expiration date were not reported, the value defaults to 1900 until the local government updates or corrects this information.

Search Tips
  • Searches are not case sensitive; all letters are handled as lower case.
  • Partial words may be used. For example, to search for "John Smith," use one of these options:
    • joh*
    • smi*
  • You can sort the table below by clicking on any of the headers. Sort multiple columns simultaneously by holding down the Shift key and clicking a second, third or even fourth column header.
